IOU Problem Again!

Post by MrRed »

Basically I'm owed £80 due to a hopper tamper alarm going off
Had £90 bank it payed down to £80 then alarmed

Usual took details call when collectors been

Just called and they say no claim has been upheld so no money
Also say no record of there been any fault with said machine

Now an engineer must have come out to sort that out

So what next?

Usually if under say £30 ish I would write this off but it's £80 and I'm not happy

Gamestec surprisingly!!!

Chances are it was switched on the next morning and fixed itself and the staff had it away.

I get videos on every IOU now, showing location, error and staff on shift.

Fair enough, i was talking in general, i'm surprised how many don't take this simple action, plenty of times it clears the blockage, best just to ring them yourself i reckon mate.

I actually don't put a single coin or note into a machine recently until I've checked where the plug socket is, some can be pretty much impossible to get to!

The most common problem for me at the moment is the neon notey and when you press 'Collect' nothing happens, everything just seems to freeze. No alarm either or message on the screen apart from your bank.

A quick off and on at the wall and the notey is happy enough to pay out notes again and the hopper happy enough to chuck out coins! Weird.
