Rayo Vallecano to beat Villarreal 23/10 Ladbrokes
I've just put £1k on Rayo as I believe they are a high tempo home side who should beat a side who have had a few different manages this season and are generally in dissaray. I think the price is quite respectable.
Kind Regards, Sir Linesman

Not sure about online, but will take pretty much anything within reason on the high street.

Can confirm Keno is correct. Ladbrokes have an automatic permission to lay system installed and unless you are dealing in a certain market or you are a monitored customer they will take substantial bets. Some early prices may be restricted, but with such bets as prices on a football coupon, most Ladbrokes shops will accept £1k and upwards. They take much higher bets than other high street bookies such as Corals, Betfred, William Hill etc.

Not sure if every Ladbrokes is the same or they can differ but surely the Phil the power Taylor must of been around 1/2, 1/3. Bit shocking if you got knocked back for £1k on that price.

ALL leading bookmakers block/exclude WINNING punters (or those on a lucky run). Especially on football and horses. They are pushing the highly lucrative FOBT market (have a look in the window of any LBO at the moment) , they want to increase the number of terminals , currently maximum of four per "unit" and want shops to open until midnight. Believe BaldFred and Victor Chandler have shops in Chinatown area of London already open this late, whilst having single staffing for most of the day. Imagine if your missus finished at 12 and then had to reconcile the cash in the roulette machines before going home whilst the threat of hordes of dodgy young men milling in and out and the increased number of robberies, often with violence.
