Just one question?
The shows are coming to my area in a few weeks. How much money in the float should I take? There are only £25 and £5 jackpots.
Thanks

How much money should I take to start with. eg - as they are £25 jackpots then there is no need on taking hundreds of pounds with me as they are easier to win the jackpot.
Thanks
P.S. - the shows are what I call them. They are like portable arcades that come on wheels three times a year.

You mean a fun fair?
I would take £0. There not exactly the most legit people in the business....

Na, I found them to be quite good.
Had one come this way earlier this year and it took just £3 starting with battle axe to get £25, no run and then onto the IJ2 crossfire jobby
£3 paid for the night and rides, food, sweets and some!
It's known as the 'Mart' this way.
Suppose it depends on what machines are there, check 1st then decide whether to even go or not.

Well the one that come near me every October has (well last October)-
£15 Pie Factory
£15 Cracker
£25 Monopoly (red cab)
£25 Cops 'N' Robbers
£25 Hells Bells
£25 Super Charged
£25 Homers Meltdown
£25 Thunderbirds
£25 Golden Dragon
£25 Cash Bang Wallop
£25 Wipeout
No new (post 03) or Sec 16 machines in sight. So what machines does you ones have?

If your gonna consider playing fruities you need to take a decent float. £30 is no good for anything unless you plan on gonig on milking wins. Take 50 at least, should be enough for barcrests and will defo be enough for milking extremes dry.

Some good machines there in that list. £15 Cracker should be there for a few jackpots. The £15 pie will be worth playing, should get 3 jackpots minimum. Golden Dragon and Supercharged should be there for good profit.
The fun fair can be awesome with the right machines in their arcades. Went to a massive fair in Cambridge a couple of months ago and emptied a Ready To Rock and an Italian Job 2. Also got a fair bit out of another IJ2 and found a bar x that worked for 5 jackpots! Roll in with holds chip.

Don't they have all have hacked Percantages...
I'm sure i read somewhere that the operators knowing they're in no fear of getting caught just hack the percentage keys and make them pay out at a completely ridiculous rate, not to mention that they're always very poorly maintained(Tried playing s PCB with No lights on the prize section at all)
I actually beleive it too... As i encountered a £5JP Disco Inferno(Which some people might remember had the "trick" to gaurantee a JP every board) The version i found, literally offered a board every £10 or so... Which has clearly been tampered with, as the only chips brought out were to remove the trick and not to make it do that.

Or maybe it had been done so much that the machine was much under percentage it was forced to do that?

my experiance in the past funfair m/c's have been shite costing stupids amounts for a board and generally not streaking as well as other places m/c's. i wouldnt ever go gambling with less than £50 just incase.
