Theres been some great games over the years, i quite enjoyed Arabian Knights, Neptunes Treasure, not so much Red Hot Knights, found them slightly tighter and they did a random flash, also PCB and Frenzy were good.

Ps, was there £8 token machines? I thought they finished at £6? I remember seeing my first machine with a £10 jp all cash payout which was Eastenders lol.

I remember Switchback. A later version of Note Exchange.

The latter was a sure-fire starter in the days where you could start off with your pocket money, changing your pound coins for 10p pieces, then looking for one of these with a 2 on the line, hoping for a hold & a boost to mystery!

Switchback would on the rare occasion, roll the £4 straight in and offer you the exchange for £4 + £2 note run.

I had NE £2 plus go for £36 once and was literally begging it to stop because I thought it was broken!

CashWise, Chain Reaction, Lynx.

Anything with a skillclimb or reel match.

On the £4 token Action Bank, if u landed on the N and got a hold with ur nudge offer, what ever win was there would ALWAYS hold after. Was rare but could happen.

Bare this in mind if u have any. Use to have one in my garage.

I can't remember £8 tokens for some reason? Obviously they were around, i also liked the Great Escape, Simpsons, ItalianJob and Mario Cart, MC was a rare one though, only ever saw a couple.

All those Maygays were great machines.

£8 tokes weren't around for that long before they thought fuck it let's go with the £10 cash!!

I'd love to have those token days back. Great times.

Which machine was it that first came out in those fancy grey cabs with the flash rippled buttons?

Had a trail to 8 I think, skill cash was about the third feature up but use to cheat you, also had a reel match low down I believe?

Use to make the high pitch bleep on each £1 that clicked out and a low pitch for 20p's and tokens or vice versa?

Use to love that game, had it in a chippy near me.

Red Alert and Impulse were enjoyable to play, lots of ways to get jp, and loved a repeat or two, i had one Red Alert that gave an unusually high amount of repeats. Also had a Lotta Luck in a small pub that lasted 6 months, back in the days you got more than 5 minutes on an empty.
