J guess in Edinburgh I'd have to try to say Hearts or Hibs because they wouldn't really care about either Glasgow team? Oh I can't be bothered. Plan abandoned, I stay in London... for now...

I'd expect its a bit like over here, you have a general idea of the clientele, landlord/barman/woman from 1 visit. There'll be posh pubs, shitholes, Free Houses, Chain Bars etc
