If you had one vote, to vote for a brand new moderator who would you vote for?
I think Glendale would make a fantastic moderator.

I would go with Stevie S. From reading his posts, he seems to have the best of both worlds; casual and pro. He words his posts well.

I would be Master of Moderators, but that's not gonna happen. If I were a moderator though, my first action would be getting rid of John32.
Therefore, I nominate MrMcStreak but I know he'd never want that role...

While I have every respect for Stevie S and Clarkey in that they are both decent people who make constructive, sensible posts, neither come across as particularly decent players, neither are full-time, and indeed Clarkey is little more than a Camcorder holder. I'm sure both would readily acknowledge this. VIP is a load of bollocks, and should be removed. Nothing of any use can be discussed in there as it is because of the number of idiots and non-contributors already in there. VIP should be replaced with 'The Nice Lounge' where decent, intelligent people, such as Clarkey, Stevie S and many others can post their observations and thoughts in peace without fear of ridicule from the argumentative pondlife that still tarnish this site.
VIP is redundant, I refuse to post anything even half worth reading on there because i'm not in the business of giving insight on how to play machines to people who I don't know, particularly those who are in full-time employment to whom playing machines is merely an extra income stream, and probably wouldn't appreciate the help in any case, and instead tell their friends who tell their friends etc.
I'm just saying what I suspect alot of people think, but can't be bothered to write.

Maybe the way forward Rich, is to run seminars for wanabee pro's, say at £495 for a day per person.
True VIP is redundant, but as with this weeks changes there are ideas afoot to improve Fruitchat.
Anyone feel free to make a suggestion.

I'd be tempted to do this had I no respect for other established players.

Thanks for all the kind words from everybody I am deeply touched

I am not a fulltime player but aside from working I have my fingers in a few pies like cars, antiques etc. Despite some daft posts, this is still a very good site and has some very clever players indeed. I will openly say that I live in a place called the Wirral which will be nowhere near any of the top players on here (I hope lol) and I don't like to stray from my area at all due to some past experiences which I care not to have repeated again. I hold all info with the deepest of respect and the small group of people I deal with on here will tell you I am a goodfella

I do not understand how being employed makes a difference to anything? Someone has to drive the ambulances, police the streets, save peoples lives, and most importantly, throw me up the tastey pizza that I will be tucking into tonight from good old domineos! Seriously though, It's going a bit far trying to suggest that their is a stigma when a fella wants to be sure he has a steady income to put food on the table for his family.
