Security is key

Right, I'm going to start banging on about my security team again, well not a team but the person who was with me today. I know it can be treated as a bit of banter, but if I hadn't had him with me today, I could of lost sometthing.
Was in an up market weatherspoons at 8.30 this morning and had put about 20 quid through the machine. My security man isn't just there to keep survelance, he orders all the coffee's, toasts, meals, drinks etc, and basically whatever else I want him to do. Anyway he's just ordered a couple of hot choclates and some porridge, and he comes over and tells me to stop playing. He's noticed something that I would never of spotted and there's a good chance if I'd have continued playing, a weatherspoons employee (think its a manager) could have got his hands on something valuable. It was a nearly a crafty stroke by this guy who must be some sort of player or have links to players, my security man was certain that I'd being recgonised from past exploits.
We all know what happens when something valuable gets in the wrong hands, so it was a momment which is going to bring back my paranoid days for the forseeable future. But I know people will laugth, but if you have security, it can be crucial. If this guy had caught me out, he probably wouldn't of realised the 'true' worth of what he was seeing, and that is extremely dangerous in itself because he would not of treated it with any sort of respect.
Im not saying everyone should run out and get security because its often not needed, but consider it. It can be difficuilt to get the right man, or women, as extreme trust is needed and its normally got to be someone who has stature. A person who is short of money is no good, another player is no good, its normally got to be someone in your family or a lifelong friend etc who exists in their own right and isn't part of the fruit machine fraternity. Anyway, my man got half my earnings today as a bonus, and another huge advantage of having security - you never have to get out the motor to get petrol.
