Does anybody know what the very first fruit machine emptier was.
There are plenty of old timers on this site, somebody must know what the first ever fruit machine trick was.

I do remember emptiing the barcrest hyper viper & exchanges unlmited. they were £2 & £3 jackpots back then. :P

There was a casino scene in one of the older James Bond films, around mid 1960s, where someone was using a magnet to illegally align the reels in the player's favour. The machines were made by Sega (same group as JPM).

That's slot machines though. I've no idea on the first AWP.

Probably something that when you pushed the glass down you could stop the reels from moving.

I think most of the posters started around 2000 as not 1 posterer has actualy named an emptier before the millinium. :P

If I'm right, I'd say it was a machine called "Rock-On".

Used to see them in train station buffets. 10p tokens I think.

First one I knew was on super cobra ,that had 10p tokens .
Also worked on 2p version,all you had to do was get the first gamble and then speed the button ,it would then almost certainly gamble to jackpot.could usually empty it in about half an hour if the coast was clear.I only knew of a few and was a kid then so no fortunes were made. It didn't even get chipped But the arcade staff who knew about it were none too chuffed if they caught you doing it

I remember a fruit machine called win again, i think it was a 2p machine & it was a £3 Jackpot, it was very simular to supa cobra & you had to get a win then hit the gamble button very fast & it would go all the way to Jackpot.

A very early trick/emptier i did was the video fruit chase the ace, the trick was to fill the matrix of cards, the cards would trail hold & give you wins up until £4.80p if it did not trail hold, you only had to reset the fruit until it trail held, even on a winning matrix. It held £95 coins/£60 50ps/£20 10ps & £150 20p tokens, a very profitable emptier if you ask me. :P

One of my favourate emptiers which i believe that not 1 person in the whole of the uk had was the £1. 2p play jp wheel of fortune, the trick was to reset the reels after every spin it would roll in a win every 5 spins, the % would go up to nearly 99%, i would go to hastings for the day as they had loads of them in the arcades & i would go back there every weekend until they got rid of them, i never got cought once resetting there fruits. :P

I remember back in 1985 i stayed in portsmouth for 2 weeks in a £10 per night bed & breakfast, i had played the exchanges unlimited, there were loads of them in the arcades back then, i was raking in £100 per day, the Jp then was £3 tokens, the tokens were paid in 10p tokens, the £1.50 cash was paid in 10p coins, the trick on this machine was to reset there fruits after every spin, i used to go to all there cascades, i can honestly say that i must of been one of the first legal fruit machine players that exisited back then.
I only had a few friends to share some of my imformation, there was no mobiles/internet back then, i do believe that i was one of the first, if not the first professional fruit machine players back in the early days.
