I was quite frankly fucking disgusted to see how this mild mannered guy was treated on this site after only posting his second thread. If anyone would care to take a look at his last thread, he was clearly a complete rookie to the site and how things work and meant no harm at all. Some people viciously verbally attacked the guy and if you look through his posts he had the class and dignity not to attack anyone back in anyway. Some of you fuckers need to get down off your high horses and realise their is more to life than shooting people down who don't know about the latest empty or rip and be more courteous to the decent people around you.

If you mean the thread where he done £650 in a star wars and was asking for help? I've just had a read and i don't think he got treated too harshly

I don't know where it is mate, but it's a shame as he does sounds like a decent bloke. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do about it...
Can't delete / ban everyone who posts something a bit over the top - there'd be no-one left. lol

Just found it. Wasn't horrendous, but what's the point in dredging this back up when it was 3 months ago?

Wasn't particularly harsh apart from one members remark.
Not particularly helpful either though , And maybe a pm after repeated requests for help would have been forthcoming from someone if the chap had a higher post count.
It's a shame that that he doesn't post here anymore though, that's for sure .
A lesson well learned there for people who automatically assume a new member posting stories of a heavy loss is someone on a wind-up...........although it has been known to happen here a fair bit!
Good posters are hard to come by these days.......a bit like playables.
