Can anyone match this dubious achievement?
Barred from the first pub of the new year!
At least i was £90 up on the lep gold at the time, and have done huge out Of the pub. But even so, first pub of the new year is super harsh!

Honestly, I know some rough landlords who would probably have your legs broken if you banked their machine more than once in a few days! It's a tough one getting barred mate but if you swap places, you would bar you lol. If it is a big chain, I always look after the influential staff in there with a healthy tip and it gets you far mate honest, cutting the right kind of guy in can be much bigger bucks if they think they will do alright with you. When barcrest and others sit down at the end of each financial year to calculate the loss from flawed machines, then the higher it is each year, the heavier they will invest to eradicate the ever more costly flaws. Barcrest have already made a big statement to players by releasing new note pay out machines which means they are growing very confident indeed.
how about a greasy pork sandwich served in a dirty ashtray.

I am just saying that if they have the confidence to release note paying machines they obviously feel they are a step closer to ending the days of anyone leaving the machine in a minus statethecannonball89 wrote:Barcrest growing confedent, nearly evryfruit is a playble.

I don't bank machines (not sure if you mean IOU them which most people take as meaning banked) full stop. Just take the value out and leave none in for anybody else, just like every other player would.Stevie S wrote:The way you've been banking machines I am surprised they didn't lock you in the pub and turn it into a scene from Texas Chainsaw Massacre mate!!![]()
No Texas chainsaw massacre scenes needed, believe me though I'm not a fighter naturally if anyone locked me in a pub good luck to them. The fact i'm 6 foot 3 and about 20 stone does tend to discourage some, although not all, machine related confrontations.

I have in situations where I felt there was no value in a future hit but tend not to, if someones beaten me to an empty it would be rude not to bank it for a gettable figure like £40 or £50 to cover my time but on the whole I wouldn't do it apart from exceptional circumstances.pickareel wrote:sir rath,u mustve been in situations where u bank, ill bank anything in a showboat as u normally get a float (unless its a fresh empty then i wouldnt)
I'm not sure stevie meant bank in the emptiable sense though anyway...
