The best and the worst!

Post by Glendale »

Whats your favourite part of the game and also the bit you hate? I like the money, cash in hand, but find you dont enjoy nights out with your mates as much as you are so fed up with going to pubs!
I am Glendale, much better than you!

The best part for me is taking the money to the bank. The worst part is strange colour urine that's produced thanks to a lethal cocktail of high sugared drinks.

I won't comment on this topic.

I could write for hours (or days with this iPhone) about this.

In short:

good money

bad life

Good - money..............bad - traveling, fucked up vision, a gourmet meal to me always comes fast and with fries and the grief our lot recieve in pubs. Had some major run ins lately, units turned off before or mid play with banks. Staff and locals getting heavy, police called that sort of thing

Good =

Money (obviously).
Make your own hours.
No boss telling you where to be, what to do.

Bad =

Units turned off upon entry, and even when the jp music is playing :x :x
People thinking you're a thief.
And days when you can't put a foot right, like today, but i will be back for more :)

Bad, finding out your machines are fucked due to players travelling to machines from out of town with "lists"

Deleloping a drink problem, I find it hard to walk into most pubs these days get buy halfs of coke as that brings "borderline" pubs fire.

Finding a RR/RDB/SW "flying" but can't get to the plug.

Regular bubble hopper jams

Hawking munters on TIOLIs or New Indys. They'll always kill em off to be able to make a proper raise through the force.

Feeling like an "outsider" to "normal" society.

Good:- tax free money paid daily, own boss, arguably more fun than a conventional office job:

bad:- definitely bar staff, punters, other players, traffic, new programs.
Bored of the grind.

As a non-pro,

Good gameplay, not necessarily for profit. Star Wars V falls into this category, some DONDs, Madness by Maygay, Dosh & Pecks.

Bad gameplay. £30 in and not a single board e.g. Alien. Pink Panther that kills you on the 2nd hi-lo number.

I totally agree with Jeff on the drink problem. I took about a 7 year hiatus from this game and have only recently returned to it for 2 months now, and only part time this time thankfully. I remember a decent roll out of a £25 Barcrest in some pubs being horrid to collect even back in the day. With at least 70 to the likes of even 300 coming out now it is just ridiculus, I simply can't get away with a non alcoholic drink in almost anywhere. Sometimes I have to buy two! Heard the mumours of "thats the guy with the magnet" already too lolz. Geting heaps of verbals in a real rough pub everytime I'm in, 6 quid in for 70 twice in one week! I'm realy hoping if they put the Jackpots up to 100 or plus, that units will be predominantly be paying out in notes.

Got two hopper jams in the first week back playing.

Also I have noticing pain in my neck where the jacket coller hangs from, from carrying silly amounts of coins in pockets as a float.

The good side for me would be the money.
I used to LOVE playing but now I'm just doing it to pay the mortgage.
