I got on it at £181 cos it was the highest I had seen. I left it at what's displayed in the picture! Cycled £5,000 through it. 7 hours of play, got the pots twice both silver (£221 and £172). Varies leppies a £125, £75 and 4 £60's plus many smaller ones. Had 4 leppies twice both for £25! I got a few large reel wins too. A little after my second silver pot I got the Jackpot roll in which put me £160 up on it so I ran! I was going to go back in a few days but after reading this I won't bother!

The size of the pots does not imply readiness to pay. The machine factors the combined values of the pots and weightings of the likelihood of a pot paying into the random paytable chart.
Put simply, you get the odds of pots as graphically displayed, so 1/2 bronze, 1/3 silver and 1/6 gold iirc. Say the average value implied was £300 vs average value implied as £150, you'd be twice as much likely to get pots with the £150 average.
In other words small pots = more likely to win, big pots = not so likely.
All you are doing by choosing to play machines with big pots is lessen the chance of pots landing, but increasing a prize from a pots win.

An employee of Barcrest will be along soon to confirm this.

You would expect to lose £300-£500 average on that session. So £160 up is a decent result. Not going back is the correct decision.

These games are random and this is stated on the load up screen.

You realise on a 92% game you should be losing about £200/ hour playing it, for a total £1400 loss expectation.... the pots being high is rather pointless as the odds of getting them are so low, and even if they are all on £500 the odds off the game are NOT over 100% - ie. you will not make in the long run playing those games even if you play only those where all 3 pots are £500.

You could have easily been 2000+ down chasing pots, Ive known a few people (not me Im not that dumb) chase pots on those and lose thousands without getting them.

Like JG says a big pot dont mean it has not paid, Usually the reason it has big pots is because its done huge roll in wins.

Clackton

Benn there twice
1st time was boring and nothing really there of any interest

2nd time was to confirm to my memory of the place bein really that crap lol

It has a KFC tho
