yes, it seems Mr Moat isn't the only person "shot away".

Though on a more serious note, I kind of feel sorry for Raoul Moat. He must have known as soon as he fired the first shot at his ex-girlfriend that his life was effectively fucked. Plus that detective on TV was urging him to give himself up, whereas the papers were saying that the armed police had orders to shoot on sight. No way out.

I think the only reason they didn't shoot him was due to the TV cameras being there, and after what happened to Charles Mendenez, the police couldn't be too trigger happy.

im not so easily convinced ,

weather in this country a man goes on a shooting spree , or teenagers go into a school in america guns blazing , etc etc etc

why is it always the same outcome ?

the police arrive ,,,,,,,,, and he/they turned the gun on themselves ? ? ? ? ? yeah right

more like the police arrive on the scene , see the devastation of murdered children etc and then just shoot the culprit/s responsible ,,,,,,,,,,,,, (and rightly so i might add , i would have no qualms in shooting a child killer ).

but why cover it up in this overused ''they turned the gun on themselves '' line ??

now im not saying this was definitely the case with this latest incident , ,,,,,, he may have shot himself ???
