I know that this isn't the quiz forum, but the first person to tell me who sung the song "Cocaine and gin" from my signature can have my entire collection of points for use in the games, since a clergyman of my stature has no time for such frivolities.
MattB, you're down to your last 40,000 ... you could probably do with them!

Luckily a mate of mine is at uni and lives in bristol, and quite into his techno and stuff. It's quite big down there so i'm told.
Its a late 90s track by Praga Khan. A quick google tells me the album was called 21st century skin. Never heard it to be honest, and not really inot that sort of music either!
(Give the points to a more deserving soul, i've got 50k already!)

I'm quite into my techno too, but I've never heard of Praga Khan. Not sure who wrote it originally, but the version I was thinking of was done with a more famous act, Death in Vegas. I thoroughly recommend listening to it! Anyway, apologies for getting off topic, if anyone wants those points they can pm me.

I know on some Skill Continues, the entire word dissappears as it goes back from the E to the C. (I mean it gets to the C, goes blank, then the C appears again etc...
Anyone tried stopping it when it goes blank just for a laff?
The display would probably just go 'You nobber!'
I remember some old machines (Flinstones - VLV if I recall) would say 'What the hell are you doing?' if you had skill on the board and stopped it on the lose square...

"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."
And that was one bloody loud machine at normal volume! Sadly it wasn't often the sound of clanking in the payout tray ...Matty wrote:Talking about VLV, I was working and some guy was forcing this and the volume was turned up full blast and it pissed me off to the max !
This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy

"What are we gonna do Fred?"
"I'm nothing but a great big dum-dum... DONG!!"
Do like playing this one on the emulator when I'm bored though - one of the more interesting ones available to play...
LOL
The worst sound on full whack is that death-scream on Top Giza! Had to hang me jacket over the speaker when I played it that time!
