Makes you wonder why they didn't put perspex instead of glass in more machines... Bell Fruit did for a while in the Smiley 2 cabs but otherwise it has never been that widely used. Yeah they did scratch easily. You could just rub the edge of a coin on it and it'd scratch. That said I once saw a JPm DYFL scratched to hell and back, presumably with a compass or something similar.
