I dont think these had much impact when compared with every note changer being done 20 different ways for a year!toothless11 wrote:Yeah smaller companies will start to appear. lesiure link lost thousands and thousands last year through scams and robbing!! Imagine how many 4 reelers were released and power 5s!?!?!
I reckon its the begining of the ending for fruity playing!! Competition is getting greater all ready!

Hi guys i know im a bit new to you guys but there are some good bits to leisure link pulling out of the pub trade.
1st: LL have been the biggest company in the uk for easy the last 10yrs and over that time they just dont look after the players ( you ) and the customer ( landlords ). This means now there selling off 50% of the remaning sites to gametec and the others will be a stright pullout.
2nd: This now means smaller companys out there really trying to build a good but fair gaming company from the bottom up, this is a big help for these new guys as before they had no hope before as LL/ Gamestec and other big companys just strangle the trade with there cheap rental prices, in turn meaning machines have to stay on site for longer to re-coupe there costs. I am one of those new companys trying to build a good company for landlord and player and its a very hard market to break into but just think guys if a few more small ppl like me manage this you could end up with a better less money grabbing company putting awps into your local pub, if so as a small company i change my awps around every 8-10 weeks just so players dont get bored, i try to sorce out new and old awps goin mainly on there playability not income information as i feel a machine that just takes money does not get played for long, all my machines go out running at 80% payout with the added 6% on most new £35s now, you will never see any machine from sceptre ( crown ) go out on anything other than 72% and most other bigger companys because the likes of enterprise and punch tell them how to set the awps up.
Ok sorry if i bored anybody and to all the ppl in LL that are losing job plz note sceptre are currently needing loads of staff as there very short on number since they made loads of ppl redundent on takeover.

Went into a pub earlier for a cluedo and found it had been chipped. I was a little surprised that they had chipped it now after its been there months, until i noticed that it no longer had a LL sticker but a Symonds and sons one!
All the machines are the same but different company. Except the itbox had been replaced with another quiz.
Im assuming LL are simply selling the machines with the locations then.

Funniest thing is that Leisurelink only took on the sight literally months ago, Claremont used to have it and they were terrible!
So leisurelink come in, put in an Itbox, eventually came back and put in the jukebox, then 2 months later come and remove the jukebox!
How long the Itbox will be there is uncertain, as it can't be taking enough money to cover the rental...
