This reminds me of a funny moment. There was a games media clone (the army themed one) next to it when I was there. Some lad and his mate jumps on it while i'm on the power 5 and gets the "hot hot hot" board. He sees everything go red, thinks that its an IM and starts celebrating. When he died after a few spins the look on his face was priceless.
dond power 5?
I did the power 5 once at alton towers hotel! Only once tho as I lived no where near, was there for my work's AGM. The bar staff shut the bar and buggered off at 12, but left the machines on. So I had a nice easy time doing it.

It was usually a sign that jackpot was just around the corner so if you got it from just a few quid in it was worth a force and you would always make out on a few bob.Oli wrote:This reminds me of a funny moment. how about a greasy pork sandwich served in a dirty ashtray.
If you did this for 4 days each morning and night and emptied it every time that means some dumb fucker had to fill the machine up 8 times in 4 days!!! Come on, something don't quite add up their does it mate??sir ratholer wrote: The best memory was they put one on the 21st december in tunbridge wells spoons which was 30 seconds away from my flat, about 4 months after the chip came out. Unbelievably it worked. I did it first thing in the morning and last thing at night for 4 days solid, and gamestec and tim
martin paid for my Christmas! Good times.

Re: dond power 5?
I am only going off what he said to me in an earlier post. There is no way anyone in the right mind would keep filling a machine up like this whether you are the boss or a punter.sir ratholer wrote:you could empty them but took a while. And yes I did take the whole hopper contents lol :-)Stevie S wrote:I keep reading some posts claiming the method on this machine was an emptier? Now as far as I can remember, you could do really well and then it would go dead and cost you £20-£30 for a board and then kill you on game over. Did I get this wrong or are some full of poopy?

If you played them the way I said in a different thread, then yes, it would be believable, but we are talking about 4 consecutive days, twice a day, of someone emptying the entire contents of the hopper. This means either a player or manager would have to come and fill the machine back up twice a day after you leave without being the slightest bit concerned about why the machine is taking £20 a board to hit a straight game over, or why the hopper is empty when you filled it up not long ago! I am not having a pop here, I am just saying it doesn't sound right and shouldn't to others either.betchrider wrote:Fuck me 4 days is nothing some filled for ages!
