payout percentages
What I don't seem to understand about you guys is that fruits operate to a pay out percentage, you lot will never win?
Re: payout percentages
You are factually correct that fruit machines do indeed pay to a target percentage, however the average contributor to this forum knows exactly how to minimise the risk of losing. Which results in a knowledge of when to play and when not to, and although nasty losses do indeed occur, there are ways and means to keep yourself in the black.AlexDonohue wrote:What I don't seem to understand about you guys is that fruits operate to a pay out percentage, you lot will never win?
It's a battle of man vs. machine, where the object is to get the casual punters to do the losing while you pick up the rewards

This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy

Another thing I'm failing to understand is that you know you need to put some money to find out if the machine is ready or not, how much do you have to put in, and when would you decided to call it a day that a machine wasn't ready. I'm also assuming you can't use those keys any more to find out how many pound coins are in there
One board usually tells the story. As for the keys I use mine all the time!AlexDonohue wrote:Another thing I'm failing to understand is that you know you need to put some money to find out if the machine is ready or not, how much do you have to put in, and when would you decided to call it a day that a machine wasn't ready. Another cry for help.
The % of machines doesnt run on a pound-in-pound out basis. Means you could never ever win. It actually fluctuates, sometimes it will be paying out at 150%, sometimes a lot less (just example figures) but eventually, over a lot of money, it comes through.
It runs over a cycle if you like. When we win, it then compensates, the art of being a good fruit machine player is determining which part of the cycle your on.
Simplest way of putting it really.

So you cant tell roughly the state of the m/c with the first board? i.e. If a reds redding or if an extreme is starting well etc.pokerpete wrote:no it doesn't.bigv038 wrote:One board usually tells the story.AlexDonohue wrote:Another thing I'm failing to understand is that you know you need to put some money to find out if the machine is ready or not, how much do you have to put in, and when would you decided to call it a day that a machine wasn't ready.
