I don't know if it's just Scotland but a lot of new rules and regulations governing door stewards have came in, they can't get away with most of the stuff they do now.

Should never have apologised to him. He sounds like a big, fat, hairy lump of steroid who uses his size to intimidate people but hides behind his mummy when it kicks off.

Gone are the days of proper bouncers like Lenny McClean and Lew Yates, these days they're just pricks in monkey suits.

Only popped in to go the loo and saw it staring at me in the corner. Anyway the big fat headed bouncer stood behind me watching my every move. He was really getting on my nerves and with the loud music him and being tired I wasn’t playing well. I meant to press the collect cashpot for £34 but pressed collect and ended up taking £3 instead. Schoolboy error I know but he just laughed. Then I looked at him and he said is everything ok and I was like yeah but I hate people watching me. The next thing he lays into me and says, well whats your fooking problem. He said I play these machines every night and if you don’t like watching you then I’ll fooking throw you out you little piece of sh1t. I was tunned he started shouting at me and getting all aggressive. I tried to apologise and he was having none of it.

I’m going to make a complaint about him as what right does he have in bullying people. I later turned to this chav and said did you see what he just did. The chav said I know him, as if to say careful what you say like he had his big brother watching him. I ‘m not a violent person but this really wound me up.

I think the bouncer was pissed off with me because he was obviously waiting for me to come off so he could jump on but I stayed on purposely. Later on he then came over and asked me why I was lying about not winning (the machine was a little slow to get anywhere) and he then proceeded to tap my pocket as if I had a pile of coins. All my money was in the bank and I only had about £35 in there.

What a noob. Anywhere rant over, and that’s the last time I’ll be going there.

YOU GOT MERKED BLUD

not all bouncers are the same

Post by evilphtbstrd »

i just joined this forum and not too impressed with this topic lol

just want to say i am a "bouncer" , but please do not tar us all with the same brush , in this job you always get the odd few who are knobs and think they are untouchable , but for the most of us it is just a way of earning some extra cash .

if i can go to work for the evening and leave without any problems then i'm happy , most of the people i work with are the same as me , working for an extra holiday or extra pressies for the kids .

most of you will take the piss lol but seriously we're not all the same :)

and a big HELLO to everyone as this my first post

We all know that bouncers don't have the easiest jobs, but for some it's a ways and means of having a one sided punch up. It doesn't take four neaderthals to ask a drunken youth, five foot six and eight stonedripping wet to leave. When they deliberately beat the 5hit out of them they deserved to be locked up. saying that, at least they are licensed now.

that sort of thing is a very small minority Harry.

there needs to be a level of self confidence to do the job, but the large majority are decent blokes making a living.

Just like with any job with power and authority you will get people who abuse it.

Train staff can be pretty bad. They have the power of the Transport Police at a snap of their fingers.

True. But there are very few BT Police. Anyone without a valid ticket needs about a £1000 fine to hammer home the point that somebody has to pay for their "free"ride.

There was one on the train I was on last Thursday - 1st time i'd ever actually seen Tranport police on the train.

I agree with Harry, there should be hefty fines for fair dodgers. I catch the Metrolink to work (£22p/w) and there are inspectors about but they heve 'pretend' police holding their hands and shadowing their every move, unfortunately these inspectors tend to hunt in packs, so while it takes 7 of them to catch one person at one stop, several scrotes are travelling for free everywhere else.

Even if we lived in an ideal world where everybody paid their way, we'd still be ripped off by the greedy, money-grabbing, cost-cutting operators anyway. :x
