East and West gives a cash shot from the blue and red panel - usually £8 odd.

Banker streak is good. Spins in a load of boxes in the mirror panel, usually £12-£15

Mega Blast gives KOs on cash trail - £8 usually

I find its never in your box either, so always deal if left with that and something else, I have had mega streak bought 5 times from getting all the Power 5 boxes, only for it to go for £35.

I'm sort of glad I'm not the only one with mixed feelings about this m/c.

I was playing one of these today, £15 in and it backs into a beautiful pile of coins so I decide to play for IM or telephones. What a joke, 4 lots of phones and a bag of shite:

1st - 50p or MS offered £16.xx = 50p + one rpt

2nd - £8 or £35 offered £21.xx = £8 no rpt

3rd - £5 or MS offered £18.xx = £5 + one rpt

4th - £20 or £35 offered £32.xx = bottled it and took the money!

Now these phone games weren't close together, they were very well staggered and the 4th game started with only the big 5 reds, was it trying to tell me something.

I don't have the empty for this and I don't know wether it was chipped or not, but what I do know is £57 in with a fair bit of recycling for £26 aint good, 1 board from now on me thinks. :(

You can only chase these if they are £8 ready to be honest, any less and you'll take a kicking on most occasions. The 4th game was probably just started that way because you had a 5 on the number reel (every game with the 5 is top 5 only). Chipped ones block it like hell, and the only way you usually get it is to spin a 5 to a ? mark. Boards often cost £8-£10 after a high value board, so play at your peril!

the thing is when forcing this for mega streak you are going too have situations on the end game when it will force wins on you and set it back, like say for instance you have £20 and mega streak left the offer will be £30+ and if you turn that down and you have the £20 in your box you have set it back a fair bit. never forced one of these but if you really have too maybe you should avoid the end game and buzz it up off the board, i would imagine it would cost a bit though. not for me personally.

I'd say that, emptiers withstanding, this is the best of the DOND range (I've not played Big Reds or whatever it's called!) There's a lot more going on and the middle game is a lot more generous.

A few features that I'd still like to know the names of:

1p Club (gotta be sheyite, surely?)
Red Mist
Super Skill Stop

Not that they would be taken often, although I do play this as a 'value extractor' machine, as opposed to the force.

It can make you play DOND off the 4/5 trail bonuses at times. Lobs you straight in without a choice which is tres annoying!

I took the 1p club (Red) last night. It is 3-shot climb on each of the values starting at the 1p. Got up to £3, and was pleasantly surprised when it added all the previous values up. I presume the blue version wouldn't do this.

Just in case anyone isn't sure, a Hi-Lo when on the middle board will still kill you.

And 5 boxes always seems to give MS when invincible.

Ah, so not 'too' bad then. ;)

How did you get the IM my man? Does it do a GATW when you get on the board?
