Crap Machine Swaps at Wetherspoons

Post by Nixxy »

So I strolled into my local 'Spoons last night to find the usual Friday night pikey kids all glued to the machines, playing aimlessly while their bored, under-dressed girlfriends clung loyally to their arms... (the usual Friday night scene really!)...

.. but which machines were they playing?

Hmm, says I. At last they've taken that dead Nuns'n'Roses away, and .. better still, they've dispensed with that hideous Hillbillionaire! (destination: bonfire)

But I see N+R has been replaced by a Pink Panther and Hillbillionaire has become a FatboySpin. Cue sigh of disappointment.

I'm not sure, but I think I was better off with the previous two m/c's. :(

Better off before, definitely. Nuns is by far the bst of that bad bunch. Pnk panther seems to be extremely tight in comparison.

I've just discovered that one of my local pubs has replaced Bling Bling & Pay Cheque with.....

Bully's Prize Board
Chav It

Absolutely horrified, they were pretty much my 2 highest earners, Bling was good for at least £75 per week, often more.

Someone's got to put a stop to this!

My spoonbs has the pleasant offering of :-

Rocket Money
Cobra Cabana

And the seemingly spoons favourite to put in, for the clueless punters :-

Hillbillionairre.

Bloody awful machine.

Id rather play a powerball anyday over a hillbill.

Powerballs are so easy to read and easy for a quick fiver/tenner.

The FatboySpin was switched off today, with parcel tape over the notechanger.

Hope someone's done it over so it gets removed.

I've actually found a good machine swap at my next-nearest Wetherspoons, where the DnN has been replaced with Life's a Beach; the Bully's Prize Board is now a Flash Cash; and these have joined the Casino Crazy, a Juggling Jackpots and a Throw a Wobbler.

So something for everyone there, and no Bellfruits in sight! :D :D :D
