The Fast Cash Twitch is the worst. You see it go to a fiver, then the twitch kicks in and you end up with £3.

How many times have you gone to ready your thumb on the button but pressed it instead & got fuck all?
Where the trail splits between top and reel glasses made it harder to hit than CCounter.

It was only well known for a few days though. I would have made an absolute fortune of these if I had of been driving at the time (and not getting pissed/wasting time playing normal fruits for fun).

IF I ever get something like that again I know what to do, chances are I won't tho!

Then you missed out, why not play a favourable hand when the odds are well in your favour? Sure you did lose the occasional ton but for everytime that happened you'd have say 4 or 5 winners. Blackjacks are relatively rare, the best way of doing it was 1 1 97 that way if dealer had an ace it would offer insurance as bet doesent exceed 100, so time to have it off. Having 2 1's allowed you to still be able to hit and possibly bust your big hand.

You could also do it on roulette, better odds.

chase the ace was a fantastic electronic £4.80 fruit machine in 1990,
the year the machines took 20p instead of 10p
you hade to fill the matrix to win on these,
if it stopped to trail hold then off & on the game & it trail held the matrix,
every line = £1 & when you filled up the matrix it gave £4.80.
it used to hold £300.
£90 £1 coins, £50 in 50ps, £20 in 10ps,
& it had a double tube of 20p tokens worth £160 pounds.

IIRC machines paid £1/10p/20p token and 20ps and 50ps went straight into the cash box. Then again if you could take a three figure sum out of a machine then I take my hat off to you.

No widespread mobile phones and internet then would have helped enormously.

King - Two - Three - Three!

This was such a good earner as they were all along the coast, and Brighton had some before there were even any players living there.

were you ever on the bwb mazooma belles? i went to the isle of wight about 2 years after the trick had come out and there was 8(!!!!) in an arcade on the pier!
i couldn't remember how to do them and remember looking at them like it was a grand for the taking.
the 2 red hot pokers, cash zone and original chip pay rise (that could be done on lines!!!) helped to take my mind off it a little.
