CALLING ALL PLAYERS TO GO TO FORUM ARCADE IN FELIXSTOWE. I'M GETTING PISSED OFF WIV THE MANAGER IN FORUM ARCADE. GO AND FUCKING RIP THE MACHINES REALLY HARD AND PISS THE MANAGER OF !!!!

the owner in forum is a really good bloke and nice bloke to me but the manager is a fucking prick

I was in Felixstowe on saturday, managed wo win about £70 odd from all the arcades and the bar opposite the pier.

Why don't we have an Arcades Named & Shamed thread so people can avoid the shitholes? For instance my mate got banned from Sega Park in Bournemouth for winning £60 off a fruit machine in there.

My job takes me to Felixstowe.
In the last months I've stopped off at the 2 arcades near the old fun fair(not the one in front of it).
Went in both with £40 in my pocket.
The first one gave me £500 from megaslot within £20.
Then last tuesday I got a full window of lions for another £500 on Monkey business.
In both the staff were fine and changed coins into notes with no bother.
Don't know if either of these are the Forum but I liked em!.
There used to be one opposite the pier,always seemed a sleazy place,but its boarded up now.

Having checked this week it was the Forum that awarded me £500 from Monkey business off a £10 investment.
Having said that the guy then put in £2 to 'clear the reels' which gave him 4 hunters for £60 .Could have done that myself though.
I was happy to get the 500 changed to notes and get out of the place!

the brown arcade (cant remember the name) is the worst! clueless in mannins tho key up the extravaganza right next to cash desk they dont even notice

the brown arcade is called family amusements a.k.a plastics?,has same owners as the pier (the threadwells who also got brittania pier in yarmouth south pier in lowestoft and used to own silver slipper in yarmouth,) .the managers name in forum is glen swan ,he fancies my sister rotten,she is able to tap him for bears every time she visits. the owner is david manning a friendly chap who ive known 25 years ,he is indeed one of the nice guy operators ,as is his brother charley who owns mannings the above club and bar on the side, his staff however, as ,has been said are somewhat naive. i spent most of my life in felixstowe before moving to minehead in 1998, with the ex manager of the pier who now owns merlins on the front. used to make a killing in mannings ,for years we were allowed to ply our trade with the owners knowledge that we were consistant winners .i have total respect for charles manning as a result,we did him the occaisional favour where security issues were concerned to keep him sweet. my brother mugsy is certainly one of the elite fruiters in the area , has almost made a career of it ,using legit methods only ,coin counting and tells and a bit of "lurking" mainly,he is revered locally and players walk straight out of an arcade if he is already there.
felixstowe is guarrenteed money on a sunday if you any knowledge of machines ,there is a sunday market close to mannings and the arcade is heavilly punted on this day even in the middle of winter ,this destination is well worth a visit on your travels ,but beware of magic mugsy,he is a formidable opponent

Yeah Mugsy was slightly influencial in getting us banned from Family! He's mates with David the Manager. I gave Mugsy a lift home once back to his flat in Walton and look how he repaid me!

Nah Mugsy's alright. That David in Family would probably have banned us anyway. We call Mugsy 'Rucksack' because he sometimes wears a rucksack. Is his real name Matt? He goes in Family and Mannings but rarely goes in the pier as he had an issue with the manager.

Then David Manning and Glen banned us from Forum. No particular reason. Mugsy got banned from Forum for smacking a sit down monopoly.
