your missing

As long as staff are paid a good chunk i don't really have an issue with it. As already said, people only have to wait until bocing day anyway, and if they can't go 2 days without a gamble, then they've got deeper issues. Maybe im not putting the point acrss im trying to make...i dont agree with xm...

morals

The sad thing is, alot of people will go in and play because they are addicted to the damn things and they know it'll be their last fix until..............oh yeah - Boxing Day. Unless they have access to an online account. Shame really, but nobody is forced to gamble. Are they? I agree noone...

Is it possible to realistically make money long term from playing poker online??? the reason i ask this is i used to play 25c/50c games consistently and pretty unsuccesfully...the reason id need to say is because of the spectacular outdraws ...id usually be up a few £ and then lose say for example A...

thanks

When you've watched someone put £200 in, win nothing and walk away. Backing means nothing these days due to notes and (what seems like) hourly refills. I've not played this machine, but the other DONDs can be horrible. Least i have ever payed for a board was £5 on a Hall of Fame. All the others hav...

this

This will shock some on here. Last week Ladbrokes were running a slots competition where you started with £100 of "play money" and had five minutes playing the slots to get the highest winnings, with small prizes for the highest in the shop and regional and national prizes adding up to £6...

Re: true costs

Sorry Jimbo but your figures are somewhat warped, the cost of a license for a catagory B2 FOBT is £1800 a year, in addition there is vat of 17 1/2% of gross profits payable. The figure you quote is wrong , it is an annual figure not a weekly one, in addition of course the shop must rent the machine...

ok then
If indeed these slots are random, they will still pay to an average payout. The thing is, this average payout could be over an almost infinite amount of spins. If they've weighted it nicely though, it should be an average over around £10,000 cycled. They can indeed be ...

again

Jimbo, I understand fully, you've hooked into the fact these aren't entirely fair. One point I have to pull you up on though. You say 'How can a random game pay to a percentage?', we've had this debate a few times before on the forums. .
The reason i mention this is because they have 12 inch...

totally agree

The dilemma for most fruit machine players is that when they play roulette the principle that "it must pay out soon" which relates to fruit machines which pay out in cyclical regularity does not apply. If you force a red or bell fruit, for instance, it will eventually give a jackpot. With...
