I'm suprised Corals aren't suing you for damage to the stairs.

I'll bet the stairs didn't have any carpet on them either.

What, because it's old? Or because it hasn't got Noel's face on it? It looks in pretty good condition to me. I think he must be from a different generation, and doesn't appreciate classic machines such as this. OP- Great machine you have there, nice to see there are still about. MPU Mecca is worth ...

The first machine I ever played was made by Aaron, don't remember the name but it was 2p a go. It was in a chippy somewhere on holiday. I dived on it as soon as another young kid had lost his chip money on it.

No offence, but frankly you ARE a mug coming on here and bragging about tooling and generally blowing your own trumpet.

I have fond memories of this machine, and i'm sure many old school players do too. MPUMecca would be another site to try, there are people on there who are very adept at refurbishing old machines and restoring them to their original condition, and such a machine would probably generate interest. If ...

86% is very generous for a pub, but punters will lose their money slowly and experience value for money in terms of entertainment, which should ensure they are happy to return. Both machines are safe in that they are proven earners for operators, players won't generally target these machines. Placed...

Two or three years ago someone who I vaguely know said they were planning to buy an arcade. Despite that person not being someone I would call a friend I told them it was a terrible idea, because the industry is sinking and the country is in recession.

Today the same advice applies. Keep your money.

If I owned a pub and had my own machines I'd set them to 90%+ with big signs advertising this fact. People and suppliers wanting to set them down to 70% (72% is becoming a common sight in pubs around here) is the short term mentality that's going to kill this game off. In some ways you can't blame ...
