Ticket Payout

On Saturday went out with Bob and had my first experience of a machine paying out with a ticket that you present to the bar to get cash on Saturday. Forget what the name of the machine was, but it was a blue plastic cabinet, not that tall, with space for a drink on top. It seemed rather light weight...

T'is indeed true Cool. There can be no reference to 'gambling-type' objects / insignia. So 'reels', 'bingo', 'fruit', 'wheels', 'cards' etc are all out, apparently. This really sounds like it's been a 'job for the boys' exercise. Wonder if "Top Prize" is allowed instead of Jackpot. Anyway...

Yes - played it. Needed about 10-12 states for a quid. Each one 2-6 questions. Won't bother with that again. Was this in the Hamilton Hall Fotherz- I was wondering about whether it is in fact a test machine? It also had the alien invaders reissue long before I saw it in more widespread circulation....
