Hi, I have a Barcrest Sweepstake using an MPU3, it became faulty and bought 2 more from ebay, but all faulty. whats your machine called forgot to ask you can get the replacement chips that are on the mpu4 all are preprogrammed at manufacture the only one that need to be programmed would be your eprom chips but they are on your gamecard and as the machine is playing ok bar the display they are ok have you ch...

the first thing i'd check is : are the connectors all seated correcly on the mpu and reels
if that is fine change over reels 1 and 2 power on the machine and does the fault come up the same if so its a problem with your mpu if the fault have changed to 21 reel 2 error then the fault lies in that reel

just had that fault on my mpu 4 mod 4 board turned out that the chip to the seg display had gone, changed that and got the display back so check ic32 its a 2803 it might be the cause to the damege of the board by the battery i'd take the board out and give it the sarsons treatment as to your leaking...
