Managed to get my machine sorted without further assistance. Went round the board and plug connections with a soldering iron and some electrical cleaner. Thankfully got lucky although I couldn't pin the cause to anything specific.

Had a replacement main board after the original failed with a critical memory error. New board gives a 0.1 PAY ALM which I can clear on the error log but returns when initialised. Bought a Monster Cash machine from Advance. Failed with little use after 2 months with critical memory error. 3 month warranty so after advice from them disconnected and sent back main board.
