It's probably popular with punters because each game lasts for a while even if you're not very good and it gives the impression of being very close to paying out a few quid.

There's a quiz in Blackfriar's on a Monday night - it starts around 8pm.

The questions are a good mix of general knowledge and some others you have to think about. Good quiz, usually a decent crowd and you get more than piss water on tap in there.

Lauders also has a dude in the gents that tries to dry your hands and spray you with smelly stuff. You might expect that in a more classy establishment, but, Lauders?

I'm liking this game a lot. The mix of football (home) and non-football (away) is a nice touch.

£3 on the first go and £5 on the second go. It got harder after that and I was out after about half a dozen questions.

I hit the £5 on the machine in the Innkeeper's Lodge in Redhill. 50p in for a quick shot of Bully before work one morning, I answered one question to get on the prize board and hit £5 with my second dart.

That's the only time, though. :x

The questions on the application form would suggest they're quite picky about taking on teams they think would destroy the Eggheads. :D

Er, just to go back to the original topic - where did you go Vidmar? Was it city centre and down sauchiehall street or did you venture to the west end? One end of the city to the other via a few central pubs. There are three machines in Glasgow city centre that I know of that still pay out good amo...

You also know it's not going to happen when Bully gives you a target of 801. I didn't even know it went that high until last week. The highest I've seen on DOND is just over 70k. I've seen a 90,000+ setting as well and the first thing it does is knock out the 250,000 box. In that situation t...

There's a Gamebox in Gatwick Airport just by the Lloyds bar. It has WWTBAM (original), Cluedo (original), Battleships and that Strike bowling game (I forget exactly what it's called.) When Bully and DOND aren't paying out on the real machine it's always good to get a few quid out of the old Cluedo. :D

I was under the impression that Bullseye decides well before you get to the prize board how much it will pay out. It's common to get £1 or £2. The other day I played on a machine in a hotel just south of London and Bully had a target of 201. One question was followed by Bully's Bonus and the £5 priz...

Catchphrase is Hangman except you get a picture clue rather than a phrase to help you. It could be good but needs to be played more before I can decide if it can take the hard-earned away from DOND. :D
