Mr Q's was orignally a pool-based themed pub branding created by Allied Breweries in the mid 1980s. The pubs were aimed at the 18-30 year old chav market. Each pub would have numerous pool tables and other amusement machines. They were pretty good for quiz machines. The branding continues today oper...

I once tried a partial Subcrawl in Glasgow, trying to play a machine at each stop rather than getting pissed. I could find sod-all in Goven and elsewhere some of the pubs were too scary LOL.

Just working out the numbers on DOND. Assuming it isn't fixed it appears to have an average return of 95.46p for every £1 staked. So at best it would appear to be a simple negative expectation game of chance like roulette.

Oval Gamesnets where there is nowhere to put your drink other than precariously balancing it on the back if it is a narrow glass. Machines that won't...

Well the one in the picture is a Pargon Mark 1 so it is hardly new. Two grand for the box and you are supposed pay for the software licences seperately. Not really a snip I would say.

If the game is "fair" the average amount you should receive by playing the board out to the end every time is £3.85.

But after you have been f**ked off for 50p or less five games in a row on a few occasions it is difficult to believe it isn't fixed.
