Never got past the third of the four bonuses on 'Shoot Out'. Even 'Dead or Alive' often catches me out on one (and not just because people have died since the game was created!)

I quite like this one too, even if the chance of winning more than two quid is a bit remote for me! I like the shoot out too, no idea how the scoring works! One thing I like is that once a pound is achieved you carry on, can't stand the option of collecting or carrying on that some games have (By an...

Three times recently my first pound coin has either disappeared in the machine or the touchscreen didn't work. I've given up trying to get the pound back. A claim form, a phone call days later, a trip back to the pub to find no manager present. Off putting to say the least.

Only marginally worse than any other day in the shops.

There's an 'egg' posting some pretty good scores in South Yorkshire. I only usually put my name when top of a board (not very often).

Watched it. Thought it was very watered down and 'safe'. Can't believe there was anything new for punters there - maybe people who have never been in a bookies saw something they didn't know before?

It's certainly pretty rare to have to wait for someone to finish before playing these days. Didn't use to be.

I think the biggest cash win was £3 and £6 token jackpot. It would have been in the early 90's when I was at University.

About twenty years ago I was playing a bar/x/sevens type machine which had the £1 coin and 10p tubes the wrong way round. Spent several hours playing for nudges for £1.60 (single bars I think) which paid out £6.10 every time. I carried out the winnings in my backpack!

I think it said 'Demo - Door Open'. Funny thing is after the first day it was switched off, then after that working normally, but it went back to 'demo' a couple more times later in the week. I honestly think others must have been collecting small wins, or not taking advantage in a similar way. Inci...

test mode

Recently there has been a machine on 'test mode' in a local Wetherspoons. On three days it gave me a certain £20 jackpot on battleships (something like 5 try agains, 6 passes, sonar, intelligence and generally replacing bonuses that were used). It only let me do this once each time and paid out with...

What's the worst gambler or gambling you have ever seen?

You know the kind of thing - punters asking whether 6/4 or 13/8 is bigger or can't work out the return on a tenner at 11/2. It does my head in when blokes shout " Go on my son " at a fillies race for example or do the same bet forever for fear of missing a winner - " missed a 6 and 5 ...

I've backed Poland outright at 50/1 , also Ireland at 100/1. Think anyone can win to be honest - could easily be another Greece type turn up.

Seabass might plaice :-)

However Rare Bob each way at around 40/1 is the call.

PS - BetVictor paying 6 places is not as good as it looks as they are top price about nothing.
I would rather have the odds than the extra place (plenty of firms paying 5 places).
