Fruit Machine Chat

Hey guys can I pick your brains? I have posted on here already about this machine. I'm just wondering if it's worth saving or take it to the tip. All the lights are on on the psu but the status light on the motherboard is not coming on? Does that mean it's not the psu or could it be the wiring going...

I've just managed to pick this little beauty up but I'm having a problem with the power. The light comes on but the reels don't go round and on start up makes a loud sound. Would it be something to do with the power supply itself or something loose somewhere? Any advice would be appreciated thanks.....
